I have talked to my doctor and even beauty therapists,and they say that there is no medical reasons to remove body hair,its all down to personal choice and currant fashions ,But some how feel is down to the porn industry and the media,showinf what the "perfect" woman should loo like.
your veiws and points please.

There is no medical reason to remove pubic hair. However, it is important to remember that doctors treat problems, not causes. Pubic hair can harbour all sorts of infestations. Also, it is found in areas that are not washed as frequently as your hands for instance.
Another reason why people shave off their pubic hair is down to increase pleasure during intercourse.
You are also correct that it has become a fashionable trend, but I don't think it is particularly connected to the porn industry - that connection is usually only made by prudes who believe sex if for sinners, etc ;o)

Personally I believe you should be able to keep your pubic hair the way you want it, whether its a full-Monty, or Brazilian, or just the bikini-line. I personally like the Brazilian look myself, but that don't mean I don't like the others cause I do......Just depends on your preference. If you wear a thong like I do, (sometimes); I prefere a full- Monty. That is about the only way you can go. Some women have a lot more hair down there than others. I would just ask the person who is waxing you what she/he thinks. If your hairy and wear thongs and it hangs out, then you might want it all saved off. It will look a lot better, and a lot sexier!

Pubic hair, much like foreskins on men, were developed by evolution over millenia to help protect our bodies. However, humanity has changed so much over such a short time (evolutionarily speaking) our bodies have not yet caught up with modern living. Although there are good natural reasons to have hair in the places we do, there are also modern living reasons to get rid of it - such as sweating in man made fabrics, the increase in diseases (fungal diseases down there - eugh!), and the smell of stale sweat from the gym. So although there is no real medical reason to remove it (as there is no real medical reason to be circumcised most of the time) there are hygiene issues - medical and hygiene reasons are not always the same.

Pubic hair is created by God to hide our most precious part and to protect it to outside environment.Cutting it is a personal preference and it is wrong to said that have a pubic hair is unhygenic. It could be said unhygenic if you would not clean it or trim it a little (if it is too long that it shows off in the panties). The media did show pictures of women without pubic hair because they want to seduce the boys out there, to buy that magazine or check that website. But in the movies you can see that when an actress gets nude there is a pubic hair in her private parts (its because if its not there then it would be too vulgar).So make sure that that hair is always clean and in good condition because if you will not take care of it, then the outer layer of the skin of your private parts will get itchy and give you problems in aiding it.

Debbie, Debbie, Debbie - don't go down that road! You are not on this planet to abuse your body for men. Of course, if you WANT to do that, who can stop you? Why don't you try for normal? Do you realize, men will screw ANYTHING - they don't care if you're a bit overweight, have pubic hair, small breasts - whatever. They just want IN!! They are wired to pursue women. Women like to look good, but you should not be trying to look like a stupid cheap porn star. The men who like those women are users. Do you want to be used? That's where you'll end up. When you meet a nice guy, believe me, he'll EXPECT pubic hair. It's there for a reason - it makes friction comfortable during sex. It's really hard to keep clean-shaven or waxed, and it's abnormal and not worth it.

In Middle Eastern countries women remove pubic hair to feel cooler. Maybe more hygienic too.

Some Idiot who decided in the Hollywood and Porn industry, that woman should be bare. Hair does grow for a reason, and believe it or not, there was a survey asking man what they prefer. And the majority said HAIR. Bare makes them think of Babies and small girls and they felt intimidated and uncomfortable.

Pubic hair grows where it is for hygiene reasons. The body rarely does things for no reason.
Saying that, women do like far nicer bald down there. Why do you think the porn industry is mostly shaved? Because people like it.

if you look closely at the hairshaft from a microscopic point of view, you see scales lining the shaft.because your crotch (or armpits) don't get enough ventilation, odour causing bacteria breeds in those little scales ans so can increase a musky smell in that area. it all boils down if your sweaty or not. or whether you're clean. i prefer my bush. I am a woman after all. and a very clean one at that
