I painted my hallway the same color, creams and greens go very well with it. I used a sage green it looks awesome. Got a lot of compliments on it. Curtains are sage and for the matting of the pictures I used cream.

Other earth colors. Like greens and reds. I would even say browns but I would go easy unless you want to have a very dark room. I would try something like a light creamy brown. Something that would make the room seem lighter.

Today I saw a home programme and they had one theme wall all orange with a mud green horizontal border in the middle. You could pain it the opposite way around if you wish. Looked very nice. I know mud green and a purple too go well with orange.

teal (light) or brown
depending on the color of terracotta (light or dark) go with bright colors if it is dark and go with dark colors if the terracotta is light. Just about any color will go with this color.

anything in the orange family of colors...even florals....but fern greens go well with it....go darker or lighter terracotta..but for a mexican splash..use aqua or dark blue
