Honest opinions here. I am all for the right to free speech, but hasn't she spoken enough?? She is beating a dead horse as far as I am concerned. I am sorry her son died for what he believed in, but using his death as her platform, Isn't that just sad???

Taking into account that she is a grieving mother, her son probably wouldn't want her to put herself through all this BS. She needs to see a therapist.

Enough already Cindy! No one is listening anymore.

Regardless if it's her right to freedom of speech, I'm tired of hearing about it. Granted she's using her son's death as a platform but unlike Megan's Law or Jessica's Law I don't see anything positive coming from her actions. Why doesn't she do something in her son's name to help the returning wounded soldiers? We all recognize Cindy Sheehan but how many people know her son's name?

I think she's going to go on "beating her drum" about this issue until she can no longer breathe. She has a right to free speech, as you pointed out. The more she "squaks", the more people turn away (except for her group of supporters). If she had handled "her mission" to get Bush's attention the correct way---not by pulling him off of a vacation 3 days early or setting up camp/buying land 5 miles from his ranch, he might have listened to her via letter. Somebody needs to remind the lady that her son wasn't the only person in Iraq.

While she has the right to speak as long and loud as she likes, I think her grief is being used by both parties. Republicans make her the anti war harpy and democrats put her on a platform to further anti war support. I feel sorry for the loss of her son, but it was his decision to join the army and she can't seem to respect that decision. I get tired of hearing her, but I don't listen to her anymore.

I just wish the liberal press would quit giving her so much coverage. She laments the death of a son who she didn't care about when he was alive and she's not very convincing as a "grieving mother" protestor. She got a few minutes of fame and has now become an adict. Every time is see her, she has less credibility. I'm glad she was arrested and I hope she gets to sit in jail this time.

So, she lost a son in a war that is illegal! Shutting her up will do nothing but make matters worse! Plus it is illegal!

She has a right to free speech, however if continues in the manner she has been, she will just alianate people who were initially on her side! Trying to shut her up will just bring her support!

She had a kid killed, she is a hurting person so leave her alone! I I wonder how you would feel if your kid came back in a body bag in a war you thought was wrong?

Truly a shrill squawker. She doesn't have any self respect.

Answer: For $2000 - A mommy-thug who looks like a dead horse.

Question: Who is Cindy Sheehan, Alex?

A lot of parents use their dead children as a platform - Megan's Law, Jessica's Law, Dru's Law, Lacy and Connor's Law, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, and there are many more. If it can work for criminal offenders, why not war? What is more appropriate than a grieving mother speaking out against the waste that was her son's death?

As an American she is allowed to beat a dead horse for as long as she is inclined. I think we need to treat Cindy like we treat a kid having a tantrum, just ignore it and hope it goes away.

It is very sad. Her son died doing what he believed in, and he is a true patriot and hero. She should be praising his memory and being proud of who he chose to be and the cause he chose to fight and die for. People are so used to impressing themselves with their "great wisdom" and they love to hear themselves talk about how terrible the president is.... yet.... they have done exactly what for the country? I think she doesn't even come close to qualifying to presidential critic with no national service background. She should let her son rest in peace.
