If he's your ex I'm sure there is a very good reason why. Like I always say never go from sugar to s***. But I do think it is out of line for you to be hooking up with his friend if you still like him.. I think that would be the ultimate disrespect.

Playing with two people's feelings is not the way to go. In the end you will be the one with your feelings hurt and a bad reputation. People should not date two friends. It's crazy!

I think that maybe you should tell your ex you are not interested anymore and keep talking to his friend, but take this into consideration if you have ben talking for a year, i doubt youll ever get together. just do what you think is right follow your dreams!!
