Most dealers will not go below invoice if they even go that far for a 2007 model because they are just out. I know I got my moms below invoice because I work for them which is about the only way.
Just offer a reasonable amount that is agreeable in both parties and be happy

Hard work.
1) You need to get a couple of dealers competing for your business.
2) You need to get vehicle invoice price from edmunds.com or similiar website.
3) You need to grind out the deal. The dealer makes money in finance charge and holdbacks(rebate from Toyota) after the sale so invoice or slighlty below is possible, not a certainty.
4) Go mid week, beginning of mont(first day works best) or end of month when sales incentives hit hardest for the dealer saqles team...more motivated to move cars.
5) Be stubborn....use fax and e-mail...make them work/compete for your business.

Wow, tough choice. I'm a 1999 Camry owner. I would probably go with the 2007 for the extra features, assuming its appearance is almost as good as new. The 2008 may be newer, but Camry's last forever anyway.

find a dealer that is willing to take a short deal on one. many volume dealers do it all the time. do your homework, and contact them by phone or the internet first. then go for it.
