Some people are just so annoying, and don't like you, or treat you bad, which make you feel so uncomfortable aroud them. It's easier to just ignore them and stay out of their business,, vice versa. But what if you have to work with them, or have to stay with them?

What's the best way to deal with them?

Treat them with kindness, always. If they are constantly putting you down, develop the art of letting things roll off your back. Without actually telling them, let them know with your actions that you are not going to let them get you down. Remember though, that good old-fashion kindness goes a long way.

Ever hear the saying " kill them with kindness " ?

Be nice but don't go out of your way for them. Tolerate but do not let them make you have a foul mood. Consider them to be a meer obstacle that you can simple walk around.

aaaaaaaaaaaaah life is good when you stand tall because you did the right thing while the other person was / is a jackass!

Ive had this problem i worked with a very mean spirited cow and I still dislike her to this day because she was a fat useless gossipy bag. I despise her. But i think that the best suggestion on here was the first person to suggest. Be kind. Be so very kind and it will probably infuriate the other person because they know they arent getting to you.

If you are staying with these people then you are obligated to be polite. There are people I know that I would sleep in the woods with no tent before I would stay with them, if I'm forced to then I can bend some more and be polite to a fault.
Working relationship, keep it professional.

I always found being uber nice to them works.

For example, just smile at them for no reason, offer them coffee, always use your best manners, nod at them smiling whilst they talk. Try this on a friend for a few days and see how annoyed they get, then you will know how powerful this can really be.

If i have to work with them ..then i just keep everything on a professional level..I only speak to them when necessary..but i also do say good morning like i do to everyone else.. But i do not have chit chat with them..While at work i try to keep my personal opinion of them aside.. I used to work with someone i truly did not like..It was a struggle for me daily..One day i almost punched her when she came into my conversation with profanity..But i walked away from her(I was Mad As H##L) but i was the better person..It is hard i know, cuz some people have no manners..All i can say is do your best..good luck..

Just stay away from them as much as possible. Dont be in the same room with them if you dont have to. Get out, get away, just avoid them as much as you can.

I sure know the feeling. Thumbs up for ya.

Kindness kills.

Try to be overly nice whenever you have to be around them. Usually they will get the picture and start to straighten up or will avoid you at all costs. Either way, its a win-win for you!

Good Luck!

Ignore them and if all else fails find something everyday to say that is nice to them. If nothing else you will confuse them enough that they will steer clear of you. Best case scenario is you make a friend out of it.

Just deal with them in a very shallow manner when you have to. Otherwise ignore them.
