It sucks , is also very hurtful but for some reason guys are expected to hide their feelings and just move on . But some of us hurt equally as bad as women do for certain.

Initially, a shock, to the system, like the world is ending. After reflection and a few missed meals and some tears, the realization that there are many fish in the sea, and if someone loved me once, other will too.
I also know it is a time of personal reflection and the need to take a Good look at how I run my life. This is even if I know the reasons for the breakup made no sense to me.
My ex wife is the perfect example. She did me a huge favor by divorcing me, and I have no words with her for 15 years, and therefore, no insanity of hers to deal with.

Gee, lets see here, not to bad really. Just a really heavy feeling in your chest. Kinda feels like someone put your heart in a bench vise and is sqeezing it ever so gently until you're sure it has stopped beating from the pressure on it.
Sometimes it feels like your stuck to the bottom of a 6' lake and your only 5'11". You feel that the surface is right there, just close enough to stretch out and take a huge gulp of air but the reality crashes down on you and you realize that you cant breath and won't ever breath again.
Other than the feeling of complete desperation and the oblivion of your future and lonliness aching for that someone to be back with you as your guts writhe in pain while they step out with someone new its a breeze. I have it down to a science.
After a couple of months of staring in the mirror trying to convince yourself of self worth your as good as new ready for another emotional pounding from someone else......

The girl I fell in love with wanted nothing to do with me because she'd been hurt before and was afraid of her feelings for me growing too strong. So she said she couldn't see me any more.
My response to her was the truth. If she was happier without me, I'd be cool, I would live, and I'd be happy knowing she was happy. Her joy was what mattered and is what I wanted anyway.
4 years later, we wed. We've been together since that conversation, married 4 years and a half.

bad i guess, but from the ladies point of view, if she dumped you, just ask why, get over it and improve. and i dont think you can say she dumped you when you are just in love with her.
