Yes, she will almost certainly have problems relating to her uterus and ovaries....but that will happen whether she gets to mate or not. If those organs are removed before a dog's first heat cycle, her odds of getting breast cancer later in life drop to ALMOST zero (not zero.) Each time she's allowed to come into heat, those odds go up until they level off at about the age of 2, even if she gets spayed later.

But dogs also do not go through menopause like a woman, and will keep coming into heat and can get pregnant well into their senior years. That's not good for ANY dog, regardless of heart condition. And with each time that happens, her risk of developing an often-fatal condition called pyometra go up. She also cannot develop cancer of the uterus and/or ovaries if they are not there.

Unless she's an excellent specimen of a her breed from a genetic standpoint, no dog should be bred. They should be spayed as early as possible. It can be done anytime, but the ideal age is 3-5 months.

The way I read your question you should avoid mating your dog-the heart disease very well could pass to the puppies- you don't want to be responsible for other dogs having the same health issues do you? She will be fine if you don't breed her- she has no idea what shes missing- so, if I were you I would get her spayed. If you choose not to spay her, keep her under 100% supervision at ALL times when she is outdoors- (you go with her). Male dogs can smell a female in heat blocks away.

Find out from your vet if the slight heart disease would prevent you from having her spayed. If not, go ahead and have it done and never again worry about her getting pregnant or a disease relating to her ovaries. I pray that all goes well for your dog.

Don't understand what your are asking, but the stress of pregancy would be worse on her heart than spaying (most vets now use reversible anesthesias & would closely monitor her), plus she would pass that gene on to any offspring - not good. If your vet advises not breeding & recommends spaying, go for it. Spaying is better for a dog's health overall - if done before she ever has a heat cycle, she has zero chance of mammary cancer, and she will never have to go through emergency surgery &/or the possibilty of death from pyometria.

If she has a heart condition she should not be bred as it could put to much strain on her heart to carry the pups.
It also could be something she could pass on to her offspring and then they would have bad hearts also.
Have your dog spayed for her health. That way she will not get cancer or have any other problems.
Make sure your vet knows about her heart before the surgery and she should be fine.

No, if she doesn't mate it will not impact her health or life in a negative way.

In fact spaying her and avoiding pregnancy will mean a better chances for a healthier, longer life. That is, provided her heart problem doesn't mean she can't have the surgery.

Even if she can't be spayed, avoiding pregnancy will mean a longer, healthier life for your dog.

Have a great day

Yes, a male puppy might cross immediately from one feminine puppy to one more and a feminine puppy waits a question of time till the dogs she has have weened off her milk till she will once more, although that still relies whilst she subsequent is going on warmth

If your dog has heart problems you should not breed it for 2 reasons. One it would be too much strain on her heart and 2 the problem, if it is genetic, could be passed on to the pups. Please get her spayed ASAP.

Don't breed her and if you don't show her, please spay her. It eliminates alot of potential diseases and cancers in a female dog. It also isn't worth the risk to breed her if you really love her.

Have her spayed. That eliminates the possibility of some cancers.
