Here a little something about christianity, judaism and islam?

I noticed how christians(not all) like to trash muslim becoz of the crimes that are commited in the name of islam. And i think its ironic that they should do this coz christians use to do the samething in the name of there believe, even killing fellow christians. And jews also made war in the name of their faith(check the bible) and there was also a time when the 12tribes were fighting each other.

So honestly, wher do you (some christians, jews)get your idea that your religion is better or the true one if your "ancestors" were guilty of the same crimes? Seriuosly shouldn't you know better, shouldn't you try to provide help, guidance and to sympathise and assist those muslims that are against these crimes?

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade. I just think that it shows how superficial and ignorant some people can be.

I'll take it you're not very religious. To ever understand someone else you have to look at things from their point of view. Christians for example, believe they are the right religion. Therefore, any other acts in the name of some other faith are recklous because they are certainly not in the name of God. Another factor is that Christians don't do this anymore. I'm not saying it is wrong, but say all faith murders, etc. are wrong, and all faiths today know that except Islam - is the past a reason to remain silent. Who speaks up agains fraud, drugs, rape, etcc? It is often the people who did it in the past. Making a mistake does not disallow you from criticizing and admiting your errors and other repeating them. A third point is the justification for the cause. There are a lot of reasons to go to war and the top of the list is religious reasons. This is because it is very important. Unfortunately, many great people stray and become evil while leading and then do many wrong acts. This is how I would explain the 12 tribes. The Christian and especially Islam less direct. While it is clear that defense of maintaining the faith is of utmost importance no where did it say in the New Testament to avenge Jesus. The most troublesome is Islam. No one really has a clue what the Koran says, even literally, so if it did say to hate Jews, there are many faithful Muslims who don't because they don't think it says that, nor would they have necesarily even read the Koran because it is so difficult to translate. Then again there is justification. Jews had to do with Jesus' death even though they didn't kill him - this is true. But why should Muslims hate Jews?

I don't bash Muslims. My "religion" is better because I know the Truth - Jesus Christ. There is no other Truth. I understand that Muslims judge us because of the crusades - I was not there though - I did not do that. Those so-called Christians in the crusades were not real Christians. So having said that - real Christianity is about the Truth - Jesus Christ and following Him - have a real, thriving, exciting relationship with Jesus Christ and God the Father.

Here a few facts - Christian versus Muslim - check this out:

Muslim - worship Allah - he is not Jehovah or Yahweh - the One True God
Christian - Worships the Great I AM, Jehovah, Yahweh, The Name, The One True God (also Jewish too here)

Muslim - they have a book of laws called the Quran
Christian - The Holy Bible - Jesus Christ our Savior, our example, we are not under a bunch of laws

Muslim - Mohammed got revelations from Allah in 610 AD, Mohammed is dead in a grave now
Christian - we serve a living Savior - He is alive - he gave us the Holy Spirit within us when we are saved

edit: OOPs!!After reading it more thoroughly, I think you are asking IF some of us think our religions are better than others. ?. If so, I would say that I agree with you...we should know better..no one's religion is "better" than another. We are all different, and a really good Christian, Muslim or Jewish person, would learn to tolerate all others who are different, and learn to get along. There seems to be alot of "religious bashing" going on here in YA...and probably all over the world, and it's wrong.
As a Christian, I have to say that following Christ, as a real Christian should be doing, we shouldn't be criticizing or judging other peoples religions. We should just be trying to be the best Christian that we know how to be.

Christians and Christian leaders stand together to denounce acts of violence. Muslim leaders don't stand together to denounce acts of violence.

Yes the 12 tribes of Israel fought each other, but not at God's blessing. If they had God's blessing for fighting each other where are the tribes today?

Christian crusades hundreds of years ago? Not in the name of Jesus. Jesus said love your enemy, do good to those that despise you.

I still love you even though you think we are superficial and ignorant. We believe Jesus is the Son of God and is shortly coming to call His faithful home before He unleashes His wrath on this world. I hope you see the light before it's too late.

First off, Christians and Jews did NOT go out and randomly kill people.

You should try reading ALL the Bible to better understand why things happen the way they do.

Second.you are trying to hold us responsible for what you perceive our ancestors ( and yours) did many years ago.

Should I hold you responsible ( assuming you are caucasion) because your ancestors held slaves?. Thatw as a terrible practice , but a common one, that I am certainly glad we stopped.

All men ARE created equal. We also all sin.

BTW, in case you don't know...Muslim are commanded by their 'bible" to go out and kill all infidels. That is anyone who isn't a Muslim.....
Yea I know they aren't all following that command, but for the ones wanting to kill me , I'll fight back.
