What does the Bible teach about the soul?
It teaches us that we do not have souls, we are souls. The Bible is very clear about this. At Genesis 2:7 it says: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." (So Adam became a soul or a person.)
Leviticus 5:4: "Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these." (A soul can swear)
Leviticus 7:27: "Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people." (A soul can eat)
Leviticus 22:11: "But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat." (Animals are souls too.)
Leviticus 23:30: "And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people." (Souls can work and be destroyed)
Ezekiel 18:4: "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." Also Ezekiel 18:20: " The soul that sinneth, it shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him." Also Revelation 16:3: " And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, even the things that were in the sea." (A soul is not immortal--it dies)

Traditionally people have been of the opinion that everything is created by one supreme being each and every thing micro or macro is god even you my friend it is just that we are put in several circumstances and several types of forms or bodies to see how we react it is like borne identity where you're accountant is the god that is you're soul which you that means you have to prove that you can withstand any circumstances any situation in any form at all times unless you do that we will all well have to in the school term re write the exams only the subjects are different.The soul is the god while some souls have proved themselves after realization that they are god and proved to others that they are god only thing is everydog has its day so everygod has his/her day we wiill have ours just like the previous founders of religion who are worshipped because they had passed the test and realized that they are god it is easy to say but difficult to do though many won't accept this fact and ask me then why haven't you it is easier to know and say but difficult to carry out try and try again boys/girls for that matter you will win at last.

You will hear some say that the soul is the whole person...
To some degree, it is true....
Yet, it should be known that the soul is the portion which was created and not the breath which was placed within it....
According to Genesis, when God created and formed man out of the dust of the ground, He created a formation.... He formed the shape of a man..... That shape is what is called the soul..... It is the vessel, if you will, that "houses" the spirit within it.....
Without God's breath of life... Man just lay there... His body moved not.... till God leaned over man and breathed into him, the breath of life...... Scripture says: "MAN BECAME"...... "A LIVING"..... soul.... He could then, think and reason.... and act and move.....
But without that breath, he was just a formation of something the Lord God made.... and that breath is spirit!!!
The soul will die......
But, the spirit is the image of God... It is the essence of man that comes from God...it is the essence of God that shall return to him from the body which God created when his thoughts perish....
the spirit is eternal...
the soul is mortal..... it will return to the dust.... and it will die.....

It is rather hard to describe something in the spiritual world, it is invisible. Soul has sense , and it is light enough to travel along with the wind. We can only feel the soul within us, in our dream,
We might have confronted with anything, it is our soul that leave us and enter into the spiritual world.

The correct answer is: Nobody on Earth ever knew anything about the human soul and nobody will. That's a secret that God chose to keep for himself. All we know in Islam that the soul and the body have to be together for one to be alive. If they're apart you die, while the soul never dies but it doesn't carry your conscious or memory but it returns to God.

Soul is the spirit of the physical this is our true being. What you perceive is less that 1% of the totality of your Self.It is the awqreness of who you are in relation to the All of everything. We are like a drop of water in the ocean. Never seperated yet individual at the same time. Your soul is that connection to the W/Holy.

evry1 knoes themself 2 b someone ..not the person they see in the mirror but someone else.tht someone is ur soul.for example even if a person 'looks' ugly, they might be xtremelly gud once u get to kno them.as every1 knos never judge a person by his/her looks..well..judge them by their souls:)
