A group of friends and I have been invited to speak at a high-school about education, making the right decisions, etc...

Are there any topics that you feel should really be addressed when talking with the kids?

i.e.
importance of education
making good/bad decisions
etc....

You could stress the importance of being a leader as opposed to following the crowd. Too many kids fall into the habit of doing whatever their friends are doing to "fit in", when it's so much more important to follow your own inner voice and distinguish yourself from the rest of the crowd..in a good way of course.

Tell them to listen.
Tell tem to listen to themselves because most other people won´t.
Tell them to beleve.
Tell them to believe in themselves and that belief is a powerful thing that will take you anywhere.
Tell then not to love money.
Tell them never to worry about money.
Tell them never to let lack of money be an excuse for not doing something.
Tell them not to be afraid.
Tell them to travel.
Tell them to be happy.
Tell them to hold on to their friends.
Tell them to ask their parents´ advice.
Tell them to walk tall.
Tell them to stop and think.
Tell them there is nothing you can possibly tell them that will prepare them for what lies ahead.
