I have 2 sons with very high special needs. I have fought very hard to get away from my family and the local agencies that are trying to hep my sons are saying count on your unhealthy family more. You have expressed your concern with their(dead beat) father and are winning in court to have him removed from the children's lives but when you voice the concern with your family and the very unhealthy and abusive ways they say well there is no way else we can help you. What do I do? I am trying so hard to make life so much better but there are noo services. I am in Canada and people outside of this country would not believe the problems I am having getting help. I live in a support apartment building and I am in a new city so that I could have a fresh start but i have no one to really count on. So i do not know where to go for help when I am dealing with the best oif the best in the region... I am losing hope and I need advice! Thank you for your time!

I can't tell you what to do but, I'll let you know what one woman did.
She packed her two kids up in New York one night. She took everything she could carry or pack, took her money out of the bank. She did not tell anyone of her plans but, she didn't have any relatives only a very abusive husband that threatened her.
She drove all nigh and day to Las Vegas, Nv. got a job waiting table and lived in her car for six weeks. Friends that she made helped her get an apartment. To make it short, she now teaches sixth grade and has a nice home. Maybe it would work for someone else too before the morgue has to remove bodies.
