No, it sounds like he's offering to be your friend with benefits without the trouble of having to do the 'boyfriend' maintenance as well. It means he can **** you without having to treat you to dinner, buy you flowers, or even tell you you're pretty. It's everything he wants WITHOUT having to do the work for it.

You're only setting yourself up to get hurt, because what it's doing is giving you false hope that the two of you will get back together, and it's gonna kill you when he keeps you has his 'friend', but gets a girlfriend as well. And you're going to have to live with it, or move on.

Don't bother with him, only put out for a man you love who deserves it.

Been there, tried that. Didn't work. My feelings were kept up (in love) so that I didn't have the heart to find anyone else who could treat me the way I deserved to be treated. It didn't act the same way on him, and when he was looking for someone else, my heart just broke all over again. If you think you can avoid this, then go for it, but you said you still love him, so I would keep my distance and get over him. You'll do better in the long run...

If you broke up with him,I expect that there is a good reason. Why would he deserve benefits?
The most important reason that you shouldn't do a friends with benefits is that you need to heal and move on. and friends with benefits doesn't help you do that.

A man you dumped wants to use you for sex, Hmmmm. Was the sex that good that you are happy to do that? You know, NO other guy would want to start a relationship with a woman doing that...screwing some other guy while starting a meaningful thing with them....hmm unless that is all that he wants from you too, the sex without commitment. I would not do it because it is going to bring those feelings up everytime and then you have the reason that you broke up with him. He just wants to keep you around to use you for sex. I would go out find someone who will treat you like women are supposed to be treated.

Unless you're one of those religious types....If he was good in the sack and you don't mind the idea of him with other girls then go for it.
