I was seeing her for 3 yrs and it just didnt work anymore how long should i take before i start seeing other people?

at least a month, that way you can work out what you want (if you want another relationship or not) and in the mean time you can go out and have fun.

Whenever you feel ready to start seeing other people. I had a six month break after splitting up with my on/off boyfriend of 2 years but I had some 'fun' seeing other people in this time until I felt ready to get back into a relationship.

I take it by your question you are not ready to see other people. Otherwise you wouldn't ask the question. But I feel there is no length of time to wait. Unless you still have feelings for her and you feel that you two can make things work between you two. I wish you luck

I don't think you can put a time limit on things...just take next relationship a bit more slowly and if it's right the time shouldn't really be an issue.

depends how long u have been with that person and what ur intentions are for the next relationship ie if u have jus come out of a long term one going into another will cause more strife take it easy relax find out stuff for you

i think intill u feel that your ready to move on, and also when u stop thinking about the person and when things dont remind u of that person. just wait intill u feel ready dont rush thing unless u are scaed of being alone some of us are its not a bad thing, just wait for the right moment
