K so I was a really skinny little kid, then had a fat awkward adolecent stage and then a skinny teenager/adult. So why when I am 177cm and 69ish kg (about 5'10" 155lbs for those of you without metric knowledge) why do I have a double chin? It's not even a double chin it's like...extra skin, like theres a straight line going from my adam's apple to the edge of my chin. I run 3 miles a day and lift weights. I eat as healthily as I possibly can, there's no way I'm losing this via more exercise. Is it possible that this a posture problem? There's a myth that its from using too many pillows. I'm thinking maybe my lymph nodes, or tonscils are swollen. I don't know really. I'm just quite sick of it. Is this something that's going to require surgery? It makes me really really self-conscious. especially since I love my face and my body and how I look from the side. I just happen to have the worst profile ever. I'll show you a picture if my description isn't good enough. Does anyone know?

I meant that I like how I look from the front, not the side.

Very detailed question! Unfortunately, sometimes it is just your heredity. If that "look" is prevalent in your family than you may have it as well. There are what we call "small" chins in my family and we have a similar look as to what you described. Not really a thing you can do about it! Sorry!

could be lose skin depending on how much you lost.
Either that or it's just your face shape. What kind of shape do you have? You can look up the diff kinds online if you don't know. I have one of those types and I've always been really skinny, it's horrible but there's nothing I can do about it.

Maybe if it's loose skin you can try exercises or get one of those zapper machines to tone up the skin?
