If God created the universe and everything in it,then did he not create all the evil in the universe? If I were to put a snake in my childs crib and then blame my child for being bitten I would be reviled, and rightfully so. And isn't that essentially what God did by releasing Satan upon the world? He not only put the snake in the crib,he created the snake, which makes him personally responsible for all the evil in the world,so shouldn't he be reviled rather than revered??

Yep, god is responsible for all suffering and evil. The Bible even says that god created evil. Nice snake/Satan analogy.

God may have put Satan in this world, but unlike the snake reference, Satan cannot directly cause something to happen. He can't just up and kill a child. What he can do is try and manipulate people into following his way. By sending Satan here, God is allowing us all to make a choice in what we believe. This allows the people to be seperated out, and find out just who is really a follower of God, and those that will walk down the path of evil.

God did not release Satan upon the world. Satan was an angel, a very special angel before he rebelled and wanted the worship due the Creator. Satan means Resister. Devil means Opposer. God created the angels with free will just as he did us. When Satan made the decision to turn from God, he wanted to take as many with him as he could. He not only got humans to follow him, but also some other angels. God doesn't want people or angels to obey him because they have no choice, but he wants people to obey him out of love and free will. This world is messed up because......

1 John 5:19: "We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.

1 John 2: 15-21: " Do not be loving either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. 17 Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.
Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as YOU have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had been of our sort, they would have remained with us. But [they went out] that it might be shown up that not all are of our sort. 20 And YOU have an anointing from the holy one; all of YOU have knowledge. 21 I write YOU, not because YOU do not know the truth, but because YOU know it, and because no lie originates with the truth."

Jude 6: " And the angels that did not keep their original position but forsook their own proper dwelling place he has reserved with eternal bonds under dense darkness for the judgment of the great day"

We need to be careful that we learn the truth because.....

2 Corintians 11: 13-15: "13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works."

image that God is a guiding rigidity that supplies the varieties and logic for the huge Bang to apply. there is ability (the Bang) in spite of the undeniable fact that it % actualities to attempt at. A reason there is order somewhat of chaos. in spite of the undeniable fact that it somewhat is a mushy God who works via best and persuading, no longer taking photos lightening bolts at each physique who displeases his royal highness (an thought borrowed from the Romans i think of). So issues crawl, consistently in the direction of bigger and extra pleasing existence. in spite of each little thing, the universe is God's conciseness, the undeniable fact that supplies him something to pay interest to.

The devil was once a beautiful angel, but he thought he could be like God, if not Better. He was cast out of heaven like lightning

God has put the devil on a long chain, to enable the realm of free will, and clear choice of right and wrong, we get to follow only one or the other.

"this world is the battle ground between heaven and hell"

yes he has 'allowed' evil in the world, but it only effects us cos we turn our back on him every day.

And as for the "snake in the cradle" God did not throw it onto the baby. The baby was dumb enough to invite it in and play with it., Since then Everysingle one of us has been stung

The 'anti-venom' is Jesus Christ, and living for him is the 'shield'

thanks for the question though.

God created the angel of death too
You should not talk bad about you creator

The truth is we all have choice even satan he choose to go against God no one put a gun to his head so to speak
Just like you choose to be the angel of death no one forced you
this is the wonder existance of choice

Why should God give you the power of choice being a human and not give the angels a choice being maded before the humans?

Why revile your maker don 't that make you worthy to be punished like satan with the reward of hell for your rebillion against God

In case you didn't know hell is not cool!

if you believe in the bible you will then know that God created all his angelic sons including Lucifer perfect.however he is not a dictator despite his power and so all these angels had a free will to obey or turn away from doing what is bad. Satan means resister and this is because he resisted God's straight path and wanted humans to worship him instead of God.he lied to Eve that she wouldn't die if she disobeyed.in other words he told Eve that she didn't need God's guidance in her life.we can now see the results of this rebellion even today where we have the same free will but we chose to be Satan's followers by ignoring God's commands.we surely suffer due to this very issue of sovereignty.

If you put a snake in your childs crib, you would be totally at fault yourself. You were the one who enabled that to happen and only you would be the one to blame.
If you talk of God, remember, you were given free will to undertake all actions.

Evil is not created but the consequence of an ignorant thought that is not in harmony with the spirit.
