I want to know if there's anything you can do to "fix" your eyes if you have an astigmatism, or is it something you have to live with forever??

Lasik eye surgery helps cure astigmatism by reshaping the cornea.

I just had it about a month ago, very amazing stuff.

Glasses do a wonderful job. If it is severe, then you may wish to consider surgery. The risks to laser surgery or radial keratotomy are significant since the area is not well supplied by blood vessels. The healing process may take over 5 years. Any trauma to the eye can cause rupture of the anterior chamber and blindness.

Astigmatism is a condition, not an object. Traditionally, glassses or bifocals are used to correct this. There is laser treatment also I believe...but there is a risk to all surgery...I am blind in one eye due t a surgery on the eye.
