What are the proper ways for exfoliating using salt. Do I need a bathtub?

If you're doing your whole body, yes you will need a tub. I use an olive oil and salt mixture 1:2 parts, for my face and sometimes the salt will fall off my hand or my face. And that's just a small area I'm exfoliating.

As to what to pair with it, olive oil, lotion, face wash, anything. The salt can be a bit drying so it's good to pair something with it that will help your skin stay on the moisturized side. And then just wash off with soap afterwards if you're pairing it with oil or lotion. You can use salt by itself, but it'll be more harsh and dry.

It depends on what you are exfoliating. Sometimes I use it for my lips, to get the dry skin off of it.
So, depending on if you are doing you whole body or if you are doing a small portion.

You have to be very careful because if you rub the wrong way salt can be very abrasive.

There are other things you can use....or buy a body scrub.

Better to blend it with some olive or almond oil for scrubbing.
