Like, I have a civity and I wont be able to get it filled for a while, with good brushing will it continue to get bigger anyway?

Yes, it like a piece of fruit, once the decay starts a good cleaning wouldn't stop it- it will continue to grow. The decay has to be removed before it travels to the nerve chamber and then you need a root canal or extraction. Get the tooth filled and make payments before it gets costly!

Yes it will continue to get bigger. The answer that said it is ok if you have good nutrition is false and bad advice. What is worse is that a cavity is a bacterial infection so that it can spread and you can get cavities on other teeth, and you can spread them to other people if you share the same cup or spoon or if you kiss them.

It will continue to erode until you get it fixed.
Brushing 'prevents' cavities it doesn't stop the damage once it starts.

Yes once the enamel is broken through only dentist's fill suffices

I always thought if you have cavities they only get worst with time

Yes, the only way to stop it is to have it filled.

It depends on what your nutrition intake is. If you have a lot of calcium and protein, you should be O.k. till you get it taken care of.
