Try Ancestry.com or Rootsweb.com and enter your family name. If someone has already posted a family tree it will display it for you. Ancestry.com charges a fee for more in depth searches but some areas are free. And Rootsweb.com has more free searches but will sometimes boot you right back over to Ancestry.com. Or try typing your family name along with 'genealogy' or 'family tree' behind it into your search engine...that will sometimes display some existing family tree where someone else has done the investigating. I don't think there is a website that is that good. But you can try Ancestry.com
