He sounds like the total gentleman. He is basically taking things slow with you as he does not want to rush you into something that you might regret. He sounds like a gem worth keeping my friend. I suggest that you ask him out on a date and tell him how you feel about him and be honest on what you heart wants to say. Then tell him that he does not have to feel obligated to take things further if he does not want to. So, he is basically waiting for you to tell him that he can take things further. Give him the heads up, you won't regret it. If you should need any more advice check out my 360

first, let me say that u've really gotten over ur EX.to start a new what i can call a relationship..
second, there r many reasons why he has not ask in a date,
1- he really likes you but he isn't ready to start a relationship.
2- maybe coz of u r living in different areas,he doesn't want to make hard or make any commitment.he likes you and don't wanna lose you,so he is taking it real slow...:)
Finally, i don't think your past has any thing to do with that....i would suggest that you ask him for one..hey why not...if u like him go for it girl.....:)

do the old "get a friend to ask him" thing. Has he properly dated other girls in the past or is seeing girls casually his idea of a relationship?Does he have money for dates? Sometimes guys don't have the money so they feel they can't ask you out. Best of luck to you.

Is he in a relationship with another woman? Maybe that is the reason. Or he's that shy type that waits for a hint from the gal. You know him and sound like you want him. If he's not in anything elsewhere, throw him a hint. It's okay with us men, I've had a few thrown at me myself.

if he's been chasing you for ages then you know the answer dont you. some men are just shy when it comes to actually asking for a date and need a bit of gentle pushing, or here's an idea, ask him yourself, it aint likely he's gonna say no is he!! come on girl take the initiative and ask him. why has he gotta ask you?

There's still an aspect of you that this guy is yet to understand. I'll strongly advise you to let him know the kind of person you're in a plain language. Stop dealing with him in riddles - if you want him say so and if not let him know, frankly.

Why don't you ask him out, just suggest you both go for a meal or to the cinema one evening, if he doesn't want to then you may have a guy on your hands who just likes messing about on his own terms, maybe he's afraid if he asks you out he may have to pay for the date or something like that.......go on, put him on the spot and see which way he jumps....hey! let us know how you get on! good luck.

Ask him out on a proper date. Then ask him out on another, and maybe another. Then say, "This has been really fun, and I like you a lot." See what he says.

Truth is bitter but at the end it is always sweet. Openly tell your person when you are confident that he will not reject you. Rest things will work for you. But before you enter any sexual relationship be sure you two get married.
