Any regular user of Yahoo7 Answer can tell you that how Christians are calling muslims with offensive names i-e Satans,terrorists ..etc.I am also interested how they are treating other religions.

There will always be these kind of people in the world..I myself do not show disrespect to others Religion or their beliefs..unlike some of the answers you received here.. but that is human nature--to condemn what you don't understand...I see alot of hatred towards Muslims and Christians here.. but i do see more towards Muslims... One day maybe things will different..

You are very right that people here generally make fun of others especially if they are in different religious groups. However, I dont not agree with you totally that "Christians" call Muslims offensive or derogative names. This is because not everybody who claims to be a "christian" is actually a true Christian. Christianity is about love and that is why Jesus Christ, the pioneer of the faith, says that we should love one another or has he rightly put it "love your neighbour as yourself". The truth is that Christian are suppose to show love and not contempt to people of other religions and that is how Christainity grew. Unfortunately, diverse groups have sprung up and styled themselves as "christians" without even knowing the first rule of Christianity which is Love for God and Others.
For those who engage in name-calling and other inimical acts, they are not and should not be seen or called Christians. Because as a Christian, you are expected to live peaceable with all men. Read the book of Galatians in the Bible for more information on how christians are expected to treat others. Hope I answered you question

Well, it's not just Christians who are doing that. And also, I got a violation email yesterday because I am a Christian and stood up for what I believe (I didn't say a word about Muslims or any other religion). So believe me, you're not the only one who is being picked on.

I think most people on Yahoo Answers have said something that they didn't really mean,but lost their temper.I am in no way negating what anyone may have said,but you can't deny that Muslims and other religions (including atheists) have insulted Christianity.Yes,that's the truth.There's no getting around it.I think everyone has insulted someone at some point!No one is perfect,and we need to recognize that everyone makes mistakes.One of the mistakes that I try not to make (even though I admit quite openly that I have probably been guilty of it at some point) is to generalize and stereotype people.All I ask is that you open your eyes and realise that you may be doing the same thing by lumping people together.

well, there are good and bad in every religion. It's not all Christians who do that. But those who do either
~ know nothing about Islam,
~ do not have respect for other religions,
~ are afraid of Muslims due to the wrong idea through the media.
~ are angry and do not know how to talk calmly and purposefully use yahoo answers.

they think of Christians are recommend and judgmental because of the fact they % to offer up killing toddlers and could no longer enable gays get married. What they do no longer stick to by on is that "radical Muslims" throw gays off of tall homes and shoot people who're suspected of having an affair. this is why they do no longer % abortions. the fewer radical Muslims deport gays and function honor killings interior the family individuals. there's no longer particularly some humor there. i in my opinion do no longer understand how the final public of Muslims take care of such issues. i might anticipate they only shun people who depart the fold. i may be drawn to listening to approximately that.

dear, i'm so sick of religious issues especialliy those of the muslims. i may not be a muslim and i'm a christian. i don't make fun of muslims. only the extremists whom i make fun of, not the innocent muslims who are trying to live their life just like a normal human being always does: wake up early, eat breakfast, go to work or school, eat lunch, go home, eat dinner, sleep tight.
the christians making fun of muslims are also extremists you know.

But I want to apologize for what ever mean thing that was said to you.
Christians who seek to be Christ-like know Jesus response would not be to mock or insult anyone.
He speaks with Love and Passion. Unity is what we should seek. Unity in praising the Lord Our Father and Jesus Christ the Son. One. Truly apologize.

My extended family call themselves Christian, and I can't get into it at all, because of the reason you just mentioned. It just seems weird and mean to me. They try to tell other people how to think and seem to beleive that their way is the only way. Its annoying.
