I m an Italian and I m invited to work for a Turkish company for 6 months. Unfortunately I didnt have any Turkish friend before and I do not have any idea about Turkish peoples thoughts on foreigners. I want to know if u hate the foreigners working or living in Turkey and I m waiting for your honest answers. I m asking by the advice of "hotTurk" who was one of the answerers of my last question to Greeks.
I would be in Istanboul in February 2007 if all the conditions will be suitable for both sides.

because decrease back then, like a lengthy time period in the past, the Greeks and the Turks were type of at warfare. Greeks killed a good number of Turks, some Turks raped a good number of Greek women people and little ones, bla bla.. and that i'm Greek and we do not HATE Turkish people, we purely dislike them alittle

I had to answer this question. Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but are you saying that if one person from Turkey answers that they "hate" foreigners over there that means you wouldn't go? First of all everyone view is different and second everyone are different. Obviously you don't have enough international experience, nor did you travel enough. Maybe this will be a good chance for you to learn about different culture and change and emancipate yourself a little bit. I been to Turkey once and it was a very pleasant experience. I have traveled to five continents and more than 40 countries and not once did I got in 'trouble' because of my ethnic background. Relax and enjoy your trip/work!

Racism is everywhere... we all do hate someone , for some idiotic reasons. So i think u should visit without any doubts and feas... u wll get to meet good and bad everywhere...Beside Intanbol is a beautifull city...
