Some because they're blind, and some because of ignorance.
I feel sorry for them all...

U cannot convince the whole world of a certain fact. If their hearts R 2 blind 2 C the truth, what can U do? In Islam, the Quran says (God says): "if Allah punishes you for your sins immediately, no human being will remain on earth". God is The Most Forgiving, Most Patient; He gives us years to repent. If He was cruel, the ones who say 'He is' will B alive today. Tell them that He will not tolerate such an accusation, if their statement is right.
Thank U 4 such a question.

Some people expect God to be like their baby-sitter. God's role is not that. God has created the universe and put us in a controlling seat of the Earth. We are masters of all other creatures and are given free will to do good or bad. We can chose to hold our soul pure and clean or to tarnish it with sin and immorality. If we do the latter, then we give the satan power to control us and exclude us from seeing right from wrong. We then become spiritually blind, even though we might be amongst the best educated. Still we are ignorant at heart for that matter.

I am Jewish and have heard many people say How could a loving God create a Holacaust? Why did we have that terrible Tzounamie in Asia? God gave us free will and mostly we use it to destroy like the Nazis destroyed the lives of Jews, Gypsies and mental patients. We have destroyed our environment so we had the Tzounamie. We morn for the dead people by these trajedies so does God. We did it to them, not Him.

People can be cruel, but that doesn't mean that God is cruel. God is pure and free from imperfection. It's like saying Good is Bad, or Hot is Cold!!!???

The Old Testiment doesn't exactly give him a good reputation for being "nice". Sure it says he created the universe (in a slightly backwards fashion, mind) but do people stop reading past that?

Put up a blog and read first few books of Old testament.

There are two types of stories there: somebody tried to attack jews and God killed them, jews rebelled against God and he killed them.

I agree... Allah Almighty is not cruel at all... Here is a story from Islamic culture... One man who is blind, disabled (can't walk).very poor who has no money at all to get clothes, food or medicine was in Haj and a Muslim khalif's saw him and he said: "why you thank Allah while you have nothing?" the poor man said" "don't said that at least Allah has given me a heart to always remember him"...Allah almighty is very merciful i love him so much.

Because he condones slavery, murder, and sexism. Because he is a bully who threatens to make humans suffer for eternity if they do not bow down to him, because he has the power to end all suffering on earth, but chooses not to. Anyway I dont believe in god, but am not too fond of his character.

"I mean God has given us life"

First of all, there is no evidence that any god has given anything life. Secondly, if a god did create us, it is ultimately responsible for all suffering that we go through.
