Right I have a problem. When I was young something bad happened to me, I thought I overcome it but I don't know anymore.

I don't seem to feel anything apart from love/care etc for my little girl.
I know I love/care for my hubby but thats it,nothing sexual.
I don't feel saddness, hate, love, guilt, like, for anything or anyone else anymore. I just don't feel anything and it is getting worse and I don't know why.
In the past I have been on loads of different pills they did'nt work.I did go and talk to someone and it is not for me.
I am always tired so I went to doc a few weeks ago.I had a blood test done and they checked everything and it was clear.
When I go to doc's they ask me questions on how I am feeling,I just say yes and no not sure of of what I am feeling.
For about 6mths this year I was on pills tryed loads nothing worked, they even gave me the strongest ones.

How can the doc help me?
What do I do?
Why is this happening?
Does anyone else have the same problem?
Thanku

Better see a psychiatrist.

You need to get evaluated by a psychologist or psychiatrist or something in that field.

Sounds like that kind of numbness you've got going on there sounds like some kind of disassociation disorder going on there. Pills are not going to solve any problem, only push them further down and then they're harder to get back up. If you talked to someone like you said and it wasn't for you then either
A: They sucked
B: Your personalities didn't match
C: You weren't open and honest to the fullest extent you need to be. You have to allow yourself to be vulnerable if you want it to work. If you don't deal with an issue such as depression, it's gonna turn into a disorder. You need to address whatevers going on so it doesn't get worse and if you think this doesn't affect your family and especially your little girl, you're so wrong.

Only you can make things happen and only you can hold yourself back.

You sound as if you are suffering from depression. There are so many medications out there today. I know you said you tried a lot of them but it's possible you haven't found the right one yet. Please don't give up. I'm like you as far as talking to a professional. Not really my cup of tea. I tried it once and didn't like it. Everyone told me to try someone else but I'm just not ok with telling a stranger my inner thoughts. You could try St. John's Wort. It is a herb that can help depression. Talk to your doctor first though because it can interact with some birth control. Make sure to get lots of sunshine. It will boost your seratonin levels. And of course it's possible you are beginning to go through "the change". I don't know how old you are but it can happen to some women as early as late 20s. How old is your little girl? Could it be post pardem depression?

That's about all I can come up with. I hope it helps. Feel free to email me if you'd like to talk more. Good luck hon. Don't give up. Keep fighting.

How long ago did you have your little girl? Could be that post something rather...

Otherwise it sounds as if you are depressed.
I hate pills, but if there is nothing else out there for you. Try going to health food store and look for something for depression.
Exercise eat right..... You may need more then just a family doctor....
Good luck and it wont last forever....

It sounds like you are depressed. Sticking with a course of psychiatric treatment, perhaps in conjunction with medication, is your best bet. It takes time and committment, but nearly everyone suffering from this condition can be helped if they have the fortitude to stick with the treatment. Good luck!

I think all this medication is turning you into a zombie. Get off them and try something spiritual like meditation or yoga, No I'm not a alternative medicine freak but I feel you need to try something natural. Good luck.
