Yeah, getting down from the trees wasn't such a hot idea after all.

This would depend on your point of view. We are all humans, some have achieved great things, some are just the opposite. There is always a point to our being we just have to find the answers to our path in life; even the smallest act of love towards another human being proves that we are not pointless, rather we are part of the human race.

If that's how you want to perceive the world then that's fine, to an extent isn't every thing pointless in the infinite scale of the universe... However we are here and for all the faults of many there are blessings of a few. Make the most of who you are and what you've got. We are accidental or a miracle whichever way you want to look at things, but either way we are here and that's it.

Do you mean we are purposeless? I say it's too early to tell, something might turn up. Do you think there is meaning out there to be discovered, or that the whole Universe is pointless? If you had a mission to save a pointless Universe, would that give your life purpose?

No I do not agree that I am pointless. I have two points both facing North. When I turn around my two points will face South.
If I bend over my two points will face down and if I look up to the sky my two points will look like fried eggs.
Blessings to your own points.

Why? If you're going to make a statement like that and turn it into a question, you have to give some more information. Why are WE pointless?

No... people are not pointless. How ever there are pointless people. Instead of going out and making something of themselves they sit around and complain about what people do. Mind you they never take the effort to do anything about it them selves they always have something to say about the person whose doing something. In conclusion, go out, do something, and live for your self no one else, otherwise.. .yes you are useless

i believe human beings all flawed.... but no not pointless....
i think every person i've ever met has taught me at least one valuable lesson about life or about myself.
pessimism can be easy, but it's not benefitial. you should try to learn something from the people around you and your experiences with them

No I definitely do not agree with this statement.
But have you personally agreed with this statement in regard to yourself at some point ? Are you trying to get more agreement via this forum ?
What is the actual question here??

Maybe. But you should have asked this question instead? Is the world a much better place without humans ever to walk on it?
