actually i still want to continue my study but my mom cannot afford it bec she is the only one who work for us and we are 3 children in our family..my father died six years ago.. i'm in first college... can you suggest some scholatship that i can apply? or can someone will help me?

There are five sources for financial aid and scholarships. None of these items cost a penny to join or apply for financial aid or scholarships.
First, apply at FAFSA.ed.gov in January or early February. It will help you tap into need based financial aid from both the college and federal government. However, it will require your mom's tax return information. Even if you think she makes too much, you might still qualify for work study and some grants.
Second, 35 states have a website in which a student can apply for college admission and state grant consideration which can be located via Google.com and Yahoo.com. If your state is one of the 15 states, you can locate state college grants by searching your state's government website.
Third, your high school guidance office has a list of local scholarsips for its students to apply for.
Fourth, some characteristics such as a college major, religion, and ethnic group have scholarships available. These can be located via Google.com and Yahoo.com.
Finally, join several free membership scholarship search websites. Most are updated on a regular basis. All have a customized search based on what you enter.
