Open the media player click help then to about windows media player or go to my computer c: drive (usually) then program files then to windows media player then wmplayer.exe right click down to properties then version tab then find version in menu below and it will tell you.

Open the window media player and click on Help. Then click on About Window Media Player. A small window will be opened where the version and other details of window media player will be indicated.

open ur media player at da top hit on >>help & About

go to HELP, then click the ABOUT button :) if its not there, look for all the drop down menus at the top for the about button and it should tell you there
