Recipe for saline.
1 tablespoon salt. ( if stinging occurs, use less salt )
16 oz of water
boil for 10 minutes or microwave for 1 min.
let cool before using. it will last fr 24 hrs then discard what is left over.

Boil about 2 cups of water in a pan; once it is boiling, put 1 cup of it into a pyrex or similar measuring cup. While the water is still hot, measure about 1/2 teaspoon of table salt into the water (preferably non-iodized, but it's not a big issue), and mix, allowing the salt to dissolve. Once the mixture cools, you'll have a fair approximation of saline that will be safe for a night's use. Be sure she rinses with clear water before putting the contacts in her eyes in the morning.

DONT PUT THEM IN WATER the soft contact are mostly made from water you put them in water and eventually they become fully water and no perscriptionwats the use of wearing them then, they can also desolve in water and cause an eye infection coz the water doesnt sterilize them. my optomotrist told me to just leave them out at night they will of corse shrivel up to near next to nothing but as soon as you get near any solution soakem in there for half hour to hour then the back to normal. hope this helps.

Nothing. Most stuff is not sterile. You might run into an amoeba infection. Bausch and Lomb even has a hard time controlling it with contact solution.
