Men don't usually see being in a comitted relationship as a goal. As you say he was making his education his priority, and will probably do the same with his career.
He just sounds like the practical type that likes to have things sorted out and is leaving the relationship thing until he's ready to work on it.
You say you're his first g/friend so the luck lad hasn't yet found out how demanding women are!! Give him a break, he sound like a good one!.

I mean no longer that grieving is ever lots relaxing yet easily the time you spent collectively, the youngsters you raised, I mean for many individuals this could be an important loss. i think of that as quickly as you're arranged to flow on you will understand yet a week is probably to rapid for you too comprehend what has purely surpassed off. additionally, "To be honest, he did wait an entire day earlier calling me up"!!! Omg! He asked you out the day after he found out your husband died... it particularly is quite tactless. It shows he has little appreciate on your mourning technique or a minimum of the type you'll be taking the dying.
