I had mine out quite a long time ago, but i vividly remember the sore throat and the pain.. Don't worry about the pain too much, you have just had two lumps taken out which is a lot in such a small area. Don't be afraid to eat, i know that is probably the last thing you want to do right now but eating rough foods will encourage the healing process. I had to eat a rock hard turkey burger so i could go home from the hospital.
If you feel like it's not getting better then see you doctor, i found gargling with soluble aspirin worked quite well to dull the pain.
Hope this helps.. get better soon.

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.
Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.

It might be the antibiotics. They usually give me a nasty taste in my mouth. Wouldn't hurt to call your doctor just in case, however, to ensure that there is no problem.

the horrible taste could be due to the blood from your operation. is it a kind of metallic taste?

This is normal, just stick to eating ice cream, and other soft foods. It will take about a week before you start feeling normal again. Good Luck................
