Theres this really cool book called the BIBLE...it tells exactly what will happen! The Book of Revelation tells all.
Revelation 21:1
[ The New Jerusalem ] Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

You're talking about the end of the planet, but the Bible doesn't say that will happen, only the end of the world, which is completely different.

World means people, not planet. In the sense of the Bible, it refers to those not following the all teachings of God and Christ, including self professed Christians.

What will God do? He will sit back while those who live through the destruction of the world, and those who come back as a part of the second resurrection, tear down the last vestiges of the old system, and rebuild Earth back into a Paradise. Than, they head out into the Universe to terraform other planets.

In the new world, there will be a rolling back of all the evil effects of the original rebellion. For example, Gods Kingdom rule will eliminate sickness and old age. The distressing effects that we inherited from our first parents will soon be a thing of the past. Do you remember what Jesus demonstrated regarding health while he was on earth? The Bible says: “Great crowds approached him, having along with them people that were lame, maimed, blind, dumb, and many otherwise, and they fairly threw them at his feet, and he cured them; so that the crowd felt amazement as they saw the dumb speaking and the lame walking and the blind seeing.”—Matthew 15:30, 31.

The suffering that results from poor health will never again torment us. “No resident will say: ‘I am sick.’” “At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped. At that time the lame one will climb up just as a stag does, and the tongue of the speechless one will cry out in gladness.”—Isaiah 33:24; 35:5, 6.

The Bible’s promise is: “Let his flesh become fresher than in youth; let him return to the days of his youthful vigor.” (Job 33:25) What a delight it will be to throw away those eyeglasses, hearing aids, crutches, wheelchairs, and medicines! Hospitals, doctors, and dentists will never again be needed.

Persons who enjoy such vibrant health will not want to die. And they will not have to, for mankind will no longer be in the grip of inherited imperfection and death. Christ “must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.” “The gift God gives is everlasting life.”—1 Corinthians 15:25, 26; Romans 6:23; see also Isaiah 25:8.

Summing up the benefits that will flow from the caring God to the human family in Paradise, the last book of the Bible says: “And [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”—Revelation 21:3, 4

I like to think the God I think I know may see to it there is no Doomsday. No matter who thinks what, there is always the chance this this Earth was not created just to be destroyed later.

(Just in case God checks what people write on Yahoo Answers, I'd like to note that my response would seem to indicate a certain degree of having faith; and I think I should get "heaven points" for that.)

don't ask about what the God will do with the world, but with you after doomsday,it all depends upon your doings, knowing that life can't be predicted after doomsday however you thought, all life surrounding you will be the first at all, either Paradise or hill.

It's in the book of Revelations, according to John, that a new Heaven will be made (I don't know what exactly was wrong with the old one, but he's gonna make a new one). You should try to read revelations, my dad read it and I just vaguely n=know things he's told me.

The mind cannot conceive what God has in store for us. I imagine He will just keep making things because he is the creator.

here's something to contemplate.
The concept of living forever in heaven..There is no end. If it sucks, you can't kill yourself to get away from it. And if its all fun and joy with no pain, who would want to live in euphoria for all eternity? Ether way.. Hell or Heaven, it all seems numb to any form of reality..But hey..you will be sitting around Jesus. not caring that more than half the people you knew were suffering for having different beliefs.... you will be singing Hymns... Forever..and ever..and ever..and ever.

This is a decision that God alone can make
He created this universe, and he is capable of creating another and another if he pleases...
