Yes, Yes-- too much bashing of the other sides by all factions.
It hides the answers of people actually trying to be helpful.
I pray to see less bashing overall. Because I am Christian and God said we have the right to rebuke one another out of love, I ask that Christians here do less bashing and be more compassionate in wording their answers. Religion is a sensitive subject. Take care if you want to be heard.
I do like to hear what people of other religions or aetheists think and feel, but I don't like to wade through a lot of sarcasm and anger to get to what they really think.
I also like to ask questions to help people widen or deepen their thinking, because sometimes we form a viewpoint without really looking at logic or viewing the other side. I am a skeptic, so I generally abstain from voicing an opinion until I've looked over things thoroughly.

I've been on here for about 2 weeks, and I've seen quite a bit of trash, but once in awhile I find some awesome people who really care. I wish there was some rule against just coming into this category to bash religious people.

while a query is ashed and reaction is gained, prima facie the questioner ought to choose for whether any of the solutions satisfies the inquisitiveness of the questioner. If the alternative isn't made by way of lack of expertise or carelessness or indeciveness of the questioner, the solutions are pronounced for balloting. in some situations questioners have particular pre-conceived notions of 'appropriate' solutions to tournament the solutions predicted via the guy extremely than attempting to study the unknown or little-huge-unfold undertaking. So, the alternative made via figuring out on the ultimate answer could be a incorrect determination additionally. as an occasion some years in the past, a query replaced into asked via a questioner on the topic of using 'gm' sound in some vedic mantra, as in 'Purusha evedagm sarvam' in Purusha Suktam. The sound replaced into pronounced interior the question as 'gwam'. a number of solutions have been gained various from 'cow' to 'wealth' with the Sanskrit be conscious 'flow' by way of fact the inspiration. All have been incorrect. there replaced into in elementary terms one ultimate suited answer that the guidelines of Vedic grammar desirable to Yajurveda in elementary terms (the two Krishna and Shukla), interior the Praatishaakya, that the 'm' sound previous 'ra', 'sa' 'Sa', 'sha' and 'ha' will undergo alter to a gutteral sound approximating 'gm', that can't be written. (i think of it is extremely like the alphabet 'ghain' in Urdu/Arabic as in Ghalib, galat words, the sound of 'g' gutteral can't be wriiten. however the questioner chosen a incorrect answer by way of fact the ultimate answer. To err is human.

At the moment it is a bit of both, but if we work at it and don't respond or react to trash questions we can make it the former!
In my personal philosophy ANY communication is still better than NO communication.

You read my mind precisely. I would have phrased it slightly different though: useful information? or opportunity to preach? But it's a free country and that is what makes this forum so great. Is everyone else having as much fun as I am?

Love your question! :D
Unfortunately, there are a lot of questions mainly to trash religions or beliefs. But fortunately, there are also people who truly want to learn and others who truly want to guide. And yet others who want an honest opinion or debate.
