get a stirle jar and have a crap in the bathtub and wash the rest down the drain. and wash yourself clean after as well and clean any mess up so no one else has to deal with it

That depends on what test you are having done.
If you are doing an occult blood test, which involves the card that the others in this list are talking about then you need to take a stick/tounge depressor type thing and smear a little bit of stool on the square windows.
How do you ''catch'' the stool i suspect is your question. Sometimes the MD gives you a plastic ''hat'' to put in the toilet to go in. Then you can access your stool.
If they didn't give you one - first pee into the toilet emptying your bladder. Then put aluminum foil or plastic wrap across the width of the toilet. Not tightly but with some sag in the middle. Then you sit and have your bowel movement and it is caught in the foil or plastic wrap. Then you can either get your smears, or you can collect it in a can that they gave you for those sort of tests. It is important to keep the stool away from the urine and toilet water.

A stool test is easy,they always ask the same questions.How many legs does a stool have and the answer is three and then they ask what colour is the stool,easy,it's BROWN.

They have a little card that has an area on it-for the sample- and a small stick that looks like popsicle stick is used to smear the stool on it- you smear it on the proper area of the card and close then take it to the lab or md as instructed- D

u just go to a lab. then ask for a slip for stool exam and then they will give u a sterile container, poo in it and bring it back to the lab. simple

Stool=poop... poop, and then wipe it on the card with the stick.
