What does she love? Your creativity should come from the heart and think of her and what is special to her. Does she like to ski or read for example? If she's big ski person take her to the mountains for a weekend retreat and propose at the top of the slope. Or for example she's a big reader go to Barnes and Noble and have some coffee. Have the waitress bring the coffee to table with a book and the ring tied to it. Something like this.
My husband proposed to me on my birthday and took me to a beautiful lookout point and gave me the ring there. I thought it was for my birthday, just a romantic date but it turned out to be a great surprise.
Another idea I heard of once in a magazine her husband took her on a hot air balloon ride. Then when they got home there was a toy hot air balloon with the ring in the basket floating from the ceiling in the bedroom.

but I must say.. IF you going to propose the one you love, just make it by your idea.. It will always Romantic anyway since the meaning that you going to do, not the creative :D but.. but.. and don't forget your Truely heart that you have to show when you propose :)

Well i always imagined since i LOVE chocolate so much that it would be cute if he put the ring inside the chocolate and i took a bite in it the ring would be inside because thats like the cutiest way i can imagine. Ether that or be laying in bed together and then he rolls kinda on top of the girl and askes her to marry him and shows her the ring i saw that on a movie and it was just too simply cute!!

well, i'm getting married in February and mine did it like this and i thought it was awesome.............
he had rose peddles leading from my bed to the kitchen and this was in the morning when i first woke up..... i got up and followed them to the kitchen table there sat a note that read
"Ms. Stacy day would you do me the honor of makeing me the most happy man for the rest of my life...?" He had pancakes and coffee made for me on the table, and i burst into tears when he brought my dog in from outside and he had an engagement ring tied around my dogs back on a pillow OMG so romantic.... but breakfast with rose peddles and a dozen roses is the way to a girls heart is with roses.....

he made a banner "i love you baby" "can't wait to marry you"and tie it with a bunch of balloons, and let it hang on the hallway of my office... then he showed up in my office serenading me {take note, with guitar effect} and after he knelt down and give me a ring and said"will u marry me"... sounds unbelievable but true. i was not ready to get married yet but that very moment, all i could say was yes. even my colleagues were stunned by what he did, my boss gave me an off that very same day.
