Have you been to egypt??

can you plz tell me what's its like there, and don't just say if its bad or not, give reasons for your answers plz. Is september/october a good month to go? Thanks

If you are going to go and want to see the famous exhibits, go five star as part of a guided tour. Because it can be really, really miserable if you are on your own. I was there for three weeks while working, and my trip to the Pyramids was ruined by the hucksters and con men. Unaccompanied women have non-stop sexual harassment and even the guys suffer from it (from local men, especially if one is blond as I am).

I understand that the Red Sea resorts are okay. I was up on the Mediterranean coast and Cairo; that was pretty poor.

Sorry, but I didn't enjoy my time in Egypt. The only happy person I saw there was a secret policeman (the badly concealed handcuffs gave it away.)

September or October should be good times to go.
