-read books in english, underline words you dont know and look the up in dictionary
-watch dvds in english, subtitles might be very helping, when you find a nice phrase/sentence pause the dvd, write it down and pronounce it comparing with original pronounciation
-listen to english, buy some cds with excersises or watch english channels like bbc and cnn
-try to think in english, therefor you will need to construct full sentences often and get used to it
-make model tests so you know which tasks to expect and can do them without wasting time on understanding the task itself
good luck

Take an English course in college. I have to tell you, though, that your grammar is already better than 80% of the recent high school graduates who write questions and answers on this forum.
If you are not a native English speaker then, if you can find one, chat with someone who does speak English as their native language.

There is a game my cousin plays called typer shark, I think it is on yahoo games or Sony games online and is free. Anyway, little fish with words on them swim by and you type the words you see. Play scrabble with a family member or friend, but when you spell a word also use it in a sentence. Practice new words and have a dictionary to check the spelling and context. Watch TV with the Closed Caption set on English. The more you hear and see words and phrases in English, the easier it will be to pick up.

Get out the book for that test and read, read, read. That is the best way. You can do it but do not wait till the last minute to study. In future also try to apply all those things you learn to your own writing. This way you never forget them and everyone will be impressed.

conversing with community people is the main effective and least perplexing thank you to advance any language the 2nd could to be hear to further and further of the language which you particularly prefer to learn ... via gazing video clips, hear to audio books ... via listening you will understand how they talk and how they pronounce. and then finally study the literature to coach conversing like the community people study on a ordinary foundation. study it out loud so as which you hear your very own voice, accessory and understand whats the version between your accessory and the community one's ... so as which you already know the place you're going incorrect and advance for this reason.

PRACTICE.... PRACTICE... PRACTICE...!!!!
When you pronounce: EXAGGEEERRRAAATTEE the words!!!!
Then WRITE, WRITE, WRITE!!!
Let other people correct your grammar... it means you need an observer and an honest opinion to assess your ENGLISH. Like you i am not an English speaker... but I think we just need to practice all the time. Good luck!!!!

Read - Read - Read. Write and assess what you have written. Have someone else correct. Try real hard and be serious about it.
