no such timing exists ... it's going to be what is right to you and the other person. you should not be afraid to say it, if you really mean it. if you think the other will be scared by it, then that's not your problem, you should just say you don't expect to hear it back and that this is just you saying how you feel. it's important you stress that as sometimes people reciprocate saying "i love you" at the start, because one person says it first. do not say it either if you are saying it to keep someone or if you're on a rebound or if you just want to be with someone. it's not something to say lightly.

You can never know a person 100%. 3, 6, 9, or even 12 months is too soon to say love 'ya. I would say you have to date a person for about 2 years before you know 50% of the person's character. Remember, 50% in any subject matter is a "F".
For sure, anything less than 2 years in a serious relationship is too soon. Don't forget. There are a plenty of couples who divorce anywhere from 3 months to 20 years.

Be careful not to scare the guy away. Some guys are afraid of commitment, and an "I love you" is the beginning of a commitment. But if you really feel love for him its never too soon

I really wish I could answer that question. If you say it to early they run, if you say it too late they are gone. I guess life is full of risks. If you don't say it your heart is safe, if you do say it and it is not reciprocated how will you feel? Remember Please
LOVE is just another four letter word. Be careful when you say it and who you are saying it to. Please, always and always protect your heart, it is the only one you have and it is precious, don't give it away to easily like I have done. You either decide to risk it and prepare yourself or you don't say it and wait. Either way you are open for rejection.

You can say it when you feel it ..but at the same time if it's early on don't be surprised if you don't hear it back right away.
