Bios is what runs the motherboard of your computer so to speak. If you are looking for that then you must have the right bios version. I am assuming you are looking for that. When you upgrade your bios it is called flashing the bios. Here is the main thing. You need to get the right one or your computer will be destroyed. Find out the name and model and whatever info you can before you go looking for the bios. There are thousands out there and you do not want the wrong one.

BIOS is the start your motherboard, BASIC INPUT OUTPUt SYSTEM
the only way to obtian is through your computer motherboard manufacter
if you buy form dell,compaq,hp,sony..etc.. check on their website and look at support or drivers.
if you build the system from ground up, figure out your motherboard brand go to their website and you can get a bios update(if there is one)..
THERE ARE SOME WEBSITE THAT WILL HELP YOU DO A BIOS UPDATE AND CHARGES A LOT FOR IT.. you can do yourself and it's really easy.. it's not as hard was what they say.
just makesure to have teh rigth model number of your motherboard and you go to go.

BIOS version is the numbers that appear on your monitor for a few seconds before Windows will boot up.
Use Bios Agent sotware.
Bios Agent shows BIOS-ID, Date, CPU- and ROM-Data, Chipset, Motherboard-OEM-Data, etc.
