When people don't find you funny, or when people don't understand you were joking?
I certainly think the latter is worse. I know I'm not funny to everyone, and that may be a good thing, but, man, having the intentional errors explained to me is the worst. I'd rather be told I stink.

Yes, the latter is worse of course. Someone might take your joke seriously and get the unintended meaning and be offended.

I agree with you, when someone does not think you are funny it's usually because they don't get it... that is to say it is to cerebral for them or they don't catch a certain reference to something. In the case of the latter, this too is usually related to their ignorance, especially with tongue-in-cheek humor, but it remains more annoying...

We all should have a sense of humor!Laughing makes us live longer!I think that when other people don't understand when you're joking,then they actually don't have a sense of humor.Too bad for them!Both of the situations are bad,because in both it seems you are not the funny one!

I'd say when people don't know I'm joking is worse, I get it all the time and it's annoying, especially when you're being sarcastic and they think you're being serious!
