I know that without a doubt I will be with my LORD in heaven someday. You see, the gospel of John was written that we may KNOW we have eternal life. If we had to belong to a certain organization and to be a member of that organization in good standing, something could happen to tick that organization's leaders off and they could remove you from that "good standing" If I had to follow certain organizational guidelines, I may fail in one of them. If I had to attend their meetings, I could get sick and unable to attend and that could prevent me from publishing the good news of the kingdom too. The Bible does have very clear instructions on what it takes to have eternal life.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The Philippian jailer asked what he had to do to be saved. The answer was to believe on the LORD Jesus Christ.
Pure and simple. If I had to work for it...how much work would I have to do?
Many people know ABOUT God but to have a relationship with Him, we have to KNOW Him. What is the difference?
Knowing about God can include us being aware of all the facts concerning Him. Many people think that knowing that Jesus Christ died for our sin is all that is needed for salvation. It is NOT! In order to have salvation that is to have eternal life there are a few basic steps we need to follow. This is so important I want to go over them,
1: We need to realize we have sinned. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God This means we have failed to met the goal of being perfect in order to enter heaven. Few of us would question this.
2: The penalty for the sin that we are guilty of is death. Romans 6:23 tells us The wages of sin is death. (Death is separation. When our body dies, our soul is separated from our body. Eternal death is when we die without doing what is being explained here and then our spirit is separated from God for eternity.
Since the only price we can pay for our own sin is to be separated from God forever, it stands to reason that there is no way we can pay for our sin ourselves. We thus come to the 2nd part of Romans 6:23: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ the Lord.
3: 2nd Corinthians 5:21 informs us: For he hath made him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Jesus Christ, God's only Son became sin for us so that we can be freed from the penalty of sin. What then do we need to do?
4: For GOD so loved the world that HE gave His only begotten Son that whosoever (read YOUR name here) believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Please note the ONLY condition given is that we believe in Jesus Christ for full payment for our sin.
5: Many times our own past activities or the activities of our ancestors may be a basis for demonic problems based on Exodus 20:5. It is important therefore to Renounce the sins of our ancestors.
Now if we only learn these facts, even though we may understand that they are true and believe them. that is only knowing ABOUT GOD. How do we KNOW HIM then? It is APPLYING that payment to our account.
This would be like having a check to pay a bill and putting the check on a desk. The bill does not get paid because the check was never APPLIED to your account. Once we know and believe the facts pointed out above, the next step is to TALK to God much as you and I would and admit that we have fallen short of what He wants.
We recognize that we deserve to be separated from a Holy God. We then tell Him that we know that He has provided a payment for all our sin and this payment was Jesus Christ when He died on a cross.
It is at this time we ask God to APPLY THIS PAYMENT TO OUR ACCOUNT. We ask God to credit as PAYMENT IN FULL for all our sin the price Jesus paid for us. It is this step that gives us eternal life. If we do all but this step, we know about God.
When we do this step, we will KNOW God and we will have eternal life. Following is a model of a prayer to trust Christ.
Lord God, I now realize I am a sinner. I realize I have fallen short of the goal You have set forth for eternal life and I now repent of this sin. I also understand that according to Your Word, the Bible, that Your Son, Jesus Christ as paid the debt for me and I am now asking You to credit the payment Jesus made on the cross to my sin. Lord God, I also renounce any sin on the part of my ancestors that may have been invitations to curses or demonic activity. Lord God I also now understand that You have now given me eternal life and I thank You for that fact. Amen.

You will go where you think you should go. Not where you hope to go. If there is something nagging on your conscience that you know was wrong, and you believe you will be punished for it, than you will. Its easy for the sociopaths and most mass murderers, they believe they have done nothing wrong, so they go where they wish to go.
Look at the historical Germanus who had people tortured and killed because he believed that God wanted them purged. Because he was a Bishop, he went to Heaven for doing God's work. What about all the Inquisitioners who tortured millions of people? They were the "hands of God" so they also went to Heaven. But the average person who believes that they have sinned will send their soul to Hell.
Heaven and Hell are Symbols that once are formed by our consciences become Reality. Therefore, my Heaven is for my soul to "set free" from its bonds of Karma. It dissolves into the very basic of elements to be remade into something completely different and new. Hell is my continuation of rebirth. Because I never learned some of my life lessons and have been both immensly good and powerfully bad, my Karma is radically offbalanced. I have been reborn numerous times, and I can only hope that in a few more lifetimes my soul can finally reach its purpose, its completion.

In general, there are indications for us to know whether we will go to heaven or hell. They are as follows:
1. We believe or have faith in our Creator, that is God;
2. We do with sincerity what God has instructed us to do. We can find out the instruction from the teaching of the religion (including through the holy scripture);
3. We avoid doing (with sincerity) what God has prohibit us to do.
If we follow the 3 basic principles mentioned above we can generally believe that we will go to heaven.
However we may not be sure 100% that we will go to heaven as there is the element of "sincerity" which no one will know for sure except God. Only God knows whether a person is doing good things because he sincerely believes in God or because of other reason such as wanting to gain fame/popularity.

Hell IS a real place, friends. I heard a saying not too long ago "Hell is full of believers". Medidate on that.
If you get to hell, guess what, there is no purification, it is NOT the un-Biblical Catholic purgatory - it is a place of eternal torment and if you ever find yourself there, inspite of the warnings from people like me and other followers of Jesus, then you'll swiftly realise two things ... (1) us Christians WERE right after all, and (2) you'll be there forever, and ever, and ever without end.
Rev 14:11 The smoke of the fire that torments them goes up forever and ever. There is no relief day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, for anyone who has the mark of its name."
I know I am going to heaven because I accept and confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, who I know to be alive and real.

I am going to neither hell nor heaven because I am already in heaven. The reason is that it is our mental state. Heaven and hell are in us. There is no heaven or hell outside. They have been created by learned scholars to tempt and to frighten people so that we don't do any wrong deed. I myself have realized this under the yogic sadhana of my Master. I believe what i personally realized. My Master says,"God is within you and if you are with Him, you are in heaven and the moment you are far from Him, you are in hell".
hope you would be satisfied.

According to the JW's after the Apocalypse. Everybody is being resurrected but there are only 304 people going to Heaven. We are all going to fight the Devil & his followers. The Good guys (Christians) are going to live forever in eternal peace on Earth. ??? The losers are going to Hell for eternity with the Devil & all.
Me personally, Well I probabally grow nice flowers for someone because I'll just be fertilizer.

If you had asked this two months ago, I would have said I would go to hell.
NOW I know I am going to Heaven to be with my Father and Lord.
How do I know for sure, I asked God to forgive me my sins and now I don't even want to sin. I do because I am human but as a Christian, I can ask God to forgive me and He will. As long as I don't continue to commit the same sins and ask forgiveness over and over, He will forgive me.
Being saved, I don't want to be out in the world anymore. Drinking, sex, gambling, etc. means nothing to me now. I feel Gods love and Jesus presence in my heart and life. It is wonderful to have prayers answered and life being so full. I feel lighter than I have since I turned my back on God when I was a teen. That's why I know what its like to not know what is real. I do remember, but God is real and so is His Son, Jesus.....

I'm going to neither. I'll die, and then I'll be dead. I don't know -for sure- because it's pretty presumptuous to think you can understand life after death, since nobody can know. I just believe what seems most realistic to me. I've never seen any evidence of a heaven or hell, reincarnation, etc.

If there is a God, and an afterlife, I am going to heaven. How do I know? Because that's where my father is (when I was into the occult, I tried to contact him, and couldn't. However, I could contact my aunt, who was into the occult, and several of my friends who were not Christian), and I am a Christian. I'll go where my dad and my Father are.

when you lose your beloved you will feel something very hurtful ..
I think hell is something like that ..
when you love someone very much .. and you be able to see him(her) or be able to talk to him(her) you will feel very very happy ...
and I think heaven is something like that ... so I think heaven and hell are mental things ... and both are automatically applied on each of us .. or say our heaven and our hell is in our brain ..
when some of us will be separated from GOD then he will feel very very horrible things that we called it hell ... and if he meet GOD then he will feel very very happy ... that we called it heaven ..

everyone will go to heaven, hell is a fictitious place.
if you are full of sin you will go to a hellish place where you will be purified of sin, before you are allowed to see God.
