I would say if the US pulled out now, Iraq would plunge into civil war. The US forces are primarily security while a new government is forming, but apparently they're not ready so no pulling out troops for a while. You might want to choose a different route if trying to persuade someone.

It doesn't increase the chance of civil war!! Over 80% of our military killed in Iraq in October were killed IN a civil war!

Unless we retake Iraq again, and that is not going to happen, we are only a negative effect on their trying to get control of the situation and a government!

The cost of a war that should have never been started is unacceptable, as is companies ripping us off like Halliburton, who has top priority in an investigation by the House!

We are recruiting terrorist's. who actually used to like the US!

We don't belong there! We never belonged there! Iraq had NOTHING to do with terrorist or 9/11! Saddam wasn't a nice guy, but neither are 100 other governments in the world!

Finally, I think the people of America sent a pretty clear massage that we don't want to be in Iraq! If losing the House and the Senate is not enough for you, then I don't know what is!

Sure Bush can Veto some bills! But Congress can cut off the money! He can't get around that!

EM! The 1/2 Trillion spent in deficit on Iraq is NOT included in the National Deficit!

Why should the US army withdrawal from IRAQ....Easy
Because we cannot change the minds and spiritual beliefs of a people that have been disagreeing for years even decades, and will continue to disagree for years/decades to come.

Its funny when you think what we are doing in IRAQ right now. Comparable to someone coming to the US and setting up a system of government that would eliminate all the different states, creating one new form of government. It couldnt be done. Yet there we are in IRAQ trying to bring democracy to a country that proves its not ready to be united.
There are far too many opposing religious disbeliefs there.
In America -- religious freedom is the basis for why our four fathers formed this union - but in IRAQ theyre extremists on each side who are intent on killing off the other.

Theyve been killing the other for so many years, how dare Bush to think he can go there and stop it - plain and simple. We got Saddam out of leadership. Okay - great job. By continuing all hes doing is putting our soldiers smack in the middle of opposing groups who will continue to despise the other with U.S. lives taking it from all sides.

side note
I say -- if IRAQ wants/needs US to stay inIRAQ -- the IRAQ should pick up the tab on all the money the United States is spending to help them build their government.
Heck, they could pay us in oil if they dont have the money -- but its completely wrong to expect US to fit the bill while we help them do what they should be doing for themselves.

As far as NEW PLAN TO WITHDRAWAL when you have BUSH saying we cant leave because US becomes target, we've spanked Saddam, we have Bin Laden on the run and so far underground hes probably somewhere close to china right now. We've sent a very clear message as to what takes place when you mess with the U.S.
WHAT HAPPENS TO IRAQ IF WE LEAVE NOW?
The same thing hat would happen if we stay -- the undercover extremist who are burying themselves into the new IRAQ Army will sit and wait until their perfect time to exploit a weakness somewhere as a suicide bomber or a bad soldier taking advantage of the innocent.
WE (US) cant stop that. No way no how.
Cut and run!
I say train and if they cant get it--then thats their own fault that their own citizens will pay for -- which takes us right back oto the beginning of this circle -- these people do not want to be united.

Return the troops home, because its foolish to keep them there.
Lose the war thats some idiot name BUSH labelled as "a War on terror" an imaginary war with such a vague enemy thats impossible to win against.
WE'VE WON THE WAR -- Saddam has been found guilty ...no weapons of Mass destruction found...end of story.

My 2 cents -- hope it helped

Ron Paul is definitely astounding. Obama isn't leaving Iraq the Iraqi government asked us to bypass away and that they grew to become down Obama's request to make US squaddies immune from any sort of regulation suits or criminal expenditures. Mercenaries are already immune from all of that stuff through fact they're inner maximum contractors and that they fee the tax payers 5x extra suitable than a US soldier. And their deaths and injuries at the instant are not recorded. we can proceed to spend billions each 12 months in Iraq.

Iraqis wanted to have a government of their own without US intervention. Civil war is occurring because the US formed government is being forced to the people.

look at the national debt the month before we went to war, and look at the national debt a month after. that's enough reason for us to pull out, other than the fact that our being there is pointless.

There are plenty of propoganda sites to give you the misinformation you are looking for. Al Jazeera is probably the best.
