Absolutely!

Freezing can cause some crystallization in the meat tissue, damaging it in a way. Of course, the more quickly you can freeze something the better.
Freezing won't make turkey inedible, but you could probably taste the difference in texture in side by side taste tests.
But most people probably wouldn't notice it if they weren't thinking about it, since frozen turkey is the most common type of turkey.

Instead of opting for the expense of an organic bird, get a fresh turkey. You probably have butchers listed in your phone directory..... Fresh birds are delicious, juicy and you know how old it is. Some of those frozen bowling ball, turkey shaped things have been frozen for months.

It certainly does!
My dad went turkey hunting the last few years he was able to get out and I must say, the wild turkeys he put on the table were juicier and more tender than the frozen, store boughten ones.

Yes, I think fresh does taste a bit better but I bet I could not pass a blind taste test on that question though.

it all depends on who you ask some people say fresh is better and some people say that after it has been sitting in the fridge or the freezer it taste better so to eat their own unless mean mean frozen that you have to cook and then of course fresh cuz it hasn't been sitting in the freezer getting freezer burn or whatever
