Technically yes, but both coffee and tea have diuretic qualities which means you are defeating the purpose. For every pint of tea you drink, you lose a cup of water.....so drink water plain or add a slice of lemon for better flavor and the best hydration.

no you will be drinking 2 pints of tea probably with milk but id rather drink a mug of tea than a mug of plain water but I'd prefer a coffee more, as for tea being a diuretic so is water without any additives it just isn't as powerful a diuretic (you would be in trouble if you didn't urinate as this is your kidneys getting rid of toxins)

NO!! You will be drinking 2 pints of tea. Water is water. NOTHING ADDED.... NO nutritional value but VERY healthy.
Tea is considered a clear liquid though....

Yes of course you will be drinking 2 pints of water!
If you drank tea with 2 pints of petrol for example, would you actually be drinking 2 pints of petrol? Yes you would..
Whatever you put in the tea or your body you are actually drinking or eating it...

The cuurent thinking by the medical profession is that the water used in making tea or coffee may be considered to be part of the daily recommended level which I understand to be 8 litres.
Better to start day with 2 glasses of cold water as this fools body into burning fat as well as rehydrating body.

Technically yes. However, tea, even decaffeinated tea, (Green black and white) are natural diuretics that will cause you to lose most of the water and it's benefits.

Yes, but you will be getting rid of most of it when you pee as tea contains caffeine, and caffeine is a diuretic.

You will, but your body won't retain it, as tea is a diahretic. So you pee it out as fast as you put it in.
