No, there is nothing wrong to read the Bible nor the Torah (Old Testament). These are Holy Books that God has sent, as well as the Holy Quran, so there is nothing wrong in reading them
ps: I got a a Bible at home, and I read it some times

There is nothing wrong with reading the Bible. It is just a way to understand other faiths and to understand how their scriptures compare to the Qur'an. If there ar innovations and corruptions in the Bible, we should read it to find them and learn form them. The Bible, while it is deffinetly flawed is based, long ago, on the word of God, so we should consult it, but as an interpretation with changes, not as the word of God in itself.

First, know ur own religion properly and wot it contains and says. Also, be tangent to wot it means to you. Once you are rooted in ur own religion, there is no harm to read other religion books.
and by the way, most of the Bible holds truth in ur Quran. If u see, u will notice that Jesus was also mentioned in the QUran and all HE did. But Muslims do not refer to those parts of the QUran. They try to ignore it thinking it dosent exist and those details aint true.
Huh! details in the Quran aint true? being false?

I dont think its wrong to read the bible, i just give the priority to the Quran first and the literature in general as second, so i just dont have much time to read the bible, even though i used to read it in the past, i have a bible at home, its my mother's, she was christian before she converted to islam.

Well, I am a Muslim and I know for a fact that it is perfectly okay for a Muslim to read the Bible. I have read it. It is not against our religion to read other holy books.

ofcourse not.
if you are a Muslim you know we believe in Moses Jesus and all other prophets of ALLAH and the four books.
there is nothing wrong in reading Bible......but whatever God said in previous books is all in Quran.
so if you read both you will know better....except there are a lot of things changed in Bible because it had been translated by so many people according to their own interpertation. it was in Hebrew..
.....on the other hand Quran is still available in its original language .no matter how many people translateed it....in Arabic not a single word is changed

no i do not think it is wrong at all.
**the bible and the torah are a part of the history of our religion. Christians and Jews are referenced many times in the Quran. how could it not be okay to know what they believe? moreover, with our globalized society it is important to know the people that we interact with. ignorance often breeds hatred.
