I'd like to be able to make an image of my laptop as well as restore it back to pristine.

To do this, I am looking for cloning software. The key is that the software that is used, should not need to be installed on the laptop in order to create the clone, nor should it eventually be installed on the pc after a restore is performed.

The laptop has two partitions (c&d) from which an image would need to be created and restored. Both partitions are NTFS and the pc has win xp corp

Any suggestions on which software to use?

The only way not to take a hardware option in avoiding the software being used on your "cloned" drive, would be to use a peripheral drive (ie, a removable drive) and have the software (such as Norton Ghost) installed on that instead

You'll need to do this with hardware. Software will necessarily leave a footprint as it has to be running on the computer to do the clone. I don't know of anyone who has created a cloning program that runs without being installed.

Some companies offer clones of hard-drives; there are macnines in which you plug in two hard drives and the first is copied. I don't remember where I saw them though.

I even have heard of it at present from friends that are fellow martial arts college vendors. The link under is the place you are able to acquire the applying for loose. I only began using the awards and my few scholars that have EARNED them somewhat like them. i will commence using the student certificates quickly, yet have not had a merchandising attempt yet. it variety of feels fairly new and somewhat person-friendly to apply. ultimate element approximately it somewhat is you are able to print a collection of martial arts certificates and awards on your scholars for loose. i think of it is loose through fact they do different issues for martial arts college vendors like custom web content, billing and merchandising. the two that or their companion business enterprise does. yet i don't be attentive to what proportion certificates and awards you are able to print (the area says over 3 hundred/4 hundred??), yet there are certainly plenty varieties, distinctive borders to compliment and a few cool characters to place on the certificates or award. stable success.
