If you are already thinking that this might cause problems, then a part of you must already believe that it will. Ask yourself why you are concerned. Do either you or your sister take what someone else does or says personally? Or do you each respect someone else's decisions without personalizing them? Another question you might want to ask yourself is, what is your relationship like with past boyfriends you have broken up with? Are you able to maintain civility, etc? I guess what I am trying to say is that deep down you already have the answer. You already know how you (and your sister) react to certain situations.
