I want to know if we can bring portable electronic devices like dvd player onboard cathay pacific/singapore airlines/malaysia airlines flight ? Will it interfere with the plane's navigation equipment ?

No problem, I bring mine all the time. They'll ask you not to use it during takeoff and landing.

I use my portable dvd player all the time on cathay pacific. So the answer to your question is yes you can use it.

Yes you can bring those items with you on the aircraft, you just are not allowed to use during takeoff and landings, but the flight attendants will inform you when it is ok to use electronic devices.

you should be able to use the portable dvd player as long as it doesn't have any radio or satillite signals
