Guys--what is the point of a guy poking you (sides, stomach, back) constantly or grabbing your shoulders and bumping into you all the time on purpose and brushing up against you and also when he hugs you, it's really tight and close?
Guys--would you do that to all girls, or only ones you are interested in?
Would it make a difference if he told a guy friend you were "hot" and told you that you were "beautiful."

Ahhh! I did that like 8 years ago with a girl i was with in middle school. I had a LOT of maturing to do, and at 20 yrs old, i still do. We guys just have some behavior issues, that you girls gotta understand. It's fair because we have to try to understand the contant emotional roller coaster of females!

I would not do that to any girl, whether interested or not. I would expect them to take offense.
Some people don't, they touch other people all the time and don't see anything wrong with it.
But this specific guy... are you really that clueless?
He's obviously interested in sex, though it's uncertain what- if anything- else he might be interested in about you.

If you act like this way with a girl, and always teasing her or always hanging around her, then it's true that your interested in her. and if you told your other friends that she's hot and beautiful then yeah for sure, your interested in her.

A guy may bump into you like this because he has found a way that he can get close physically and he feels like he can get away with it.

some guys do that to be annoying, others do it as an excuse to be close. If your interested in him go for it, sounds like you might have a good shot

It sounds like he likes you from all the touching. And if he said you were "hot" or "beautiful" then definitely.

well.. i wouldnt go around poking girls.. they'd find it creapy.. but it means that he either finds you attractive.. or picks on you.. one of the two atleast.. but if he told a friend that.. he thinks you're hot atleast.. doesnt mean that he wants to actually date you though

more than likly he likes you as a girlfriend like or a friend like i dont know ask him or do it back to him if he's picking on you and you do it back he'll stop probibally but more than likly he's flirting and too shy to say something grab his as.s when he hugs you or something and see how he reacts ;)
