What do you consider to be a mess? I've gone to the stylist to do something about my curly hair and they end of doing something that looks like a mess---to me. To them it is stylish. If they are doing a theme, or a natural look (being a 4 year old )why would they want her in perfect hair? They might be doing something that seems racist, but not intentionally. Ask the person in charge and then deal with it.

I notice that in commericals and print ads. The girls are cute, with cute outfits, but their hair is usually bushy , all over their heads. Not combed into a style. Maybe that what sells.

It makes them look childish, active, playful, probably cute too... i guess... the media is crazed, and shouldn't be thought of reasonable.

specifically, what do you mean a mess? that is odd. perhaps it is the child-like way to go now days?
